The Schematic Design Phase is the creative
process of translating the information obtained in the Pre-Design
Phase into conceptual sketches and line drawings, for the purpose
of developing an appropriate arrangement of forms within the site
(building, massing, pedestrian circulation, parking, drives, utilities,
landscaping masses, etc.) as well as the arrangement of spaces
and functions within the building plan. Exterior elevation studies
are also part of this stage, and preliminary budgets and schedules
are established at this time. One of Heartland Group LLC's specialties
is the early development of an overall site use Master Plan, with
assistance to the client in planning the phasing of multi-phase,
long-range projects, based upon site and programming information
gathered. |
